At The Achiltibuie Garden our policy is to try to keep delivery charges to a minimum, but are very much bound by what our carriers charge us. Those of you who are returning customers will see that we now have a sliding scale of charges rather than a single flat rate. We think this is a fairer system and it means that if you only order a few small, light items you'll pay less for carriage.

The amount of carriage you pay for your order depends on its total weight. To help you see what the carriage charge will be, each product now shows its weight beside the price. When you complete the checkout process online, your final carriage charge will be shown.

The rates are:

Up to a total weight of 0.10 kg:     £1.50
0.11 - 2.00 kg                             £2.95
2.01 - 20.00 kg                           £5.95
over 20.00 kg                             £9.95

The Achiltibuie Garden is based in the Highlands of Scotland and orders being sent to other areas of the Highlands are sent by local courier using a 24 hour service.

For the rest of the UK, small orders are sent out by second class post from our local Post Office. If you would like us to send your order by First Class post, please contact us for a quote. Larger orders are sent by Parcelforce 48. If you would like to track your order once it has been despatched click here. The parcel number you need to do this is available from us on request.  Heavy orders (over 25 kg) are usually sent by courier.

The above information and delivery charges apply to UK orders only. For sending outwith the UK, carriage is charged at cost and the timescale depends on your location.  Please contact us for a quote. You'll be given prices for the various options available for sending to your country from which you can choose the one most suitable for you. Do bear in mind that some of our products are quite heavy and the carriage can sometimes cost more than the actual product.
