Do I need to add nutrients?

Yes. The growing media we supply are generally inert (our own Gold growing medium comes with a small starter dose of nutrients) and we recommend using nutrients specifically formulated for hydroponic growing. These nutrients will provide plants with all the minerals and trace elements needed for healthy growth. We have a range of nutrients available to buy online: The Original Hydroponicum liquid feeds - Tomato and general purpose, feed granules and Ionic single pack nutrients.
