Where we are Achiltibuie Garden is located on the Coigach Peninsula, in North-West Ross-shire, overlooking the beautiful Summer Isles. At the southern end of the North-West Highlands Geopark the area is rich in places of geological and archaeological interest. This stunning area is the perfect place to enjoy walking, climbing, bird watching, fishing, painting, photography, kayaking, cycling,... or just relaxing!
Coigach is made up of Achduart, Acheninver, Achiltibuie, Achnahaird, Altandhu, Badenscallie, Badentarbet, Culnacraig, Dornie, Inverpolly, Polbain, Polglass and Reiff. Although it's a scattered community, the hub is Achiltibuie as it has the primary school, Coigach community hall, Post Office and fire station, not forgetting Achiltibuie Garden. The area is well serviced with local shops, a hotel, bars, craft shops, library and holiday accommodation. During the summer months you can take a cruise of the Summer Isles on board the MV Hectoria.
